#EndGamblingAds

#EndGamblingAds

This is urgent.

We already know that people who are socially isolated are more vulnerable to gambling harm, and online gambling has increased by 67% during this pandemic.[1]

Already, we know that no child under 13 has watched a major sporting event without seeing gambling marketing.

Like you, many of our Members of Parliament (MPs) are parents who are deeply concerned about the impact of gambling advertising on both their kids and the community at large.

Our elected leaders have the power to #EndGamblingAds. They’ve done it before with big tobacco, and need to urgently do the same here!

Email Tips +

  • Tell your MP you are a constituent in their electorate.

  • Writing your own subject line and message is more impactful than a form letter.

  • Keep your message short and punchy – a couple of simple sentences explaining why you care is perfect.

  • Include a call-to-action – what do you want your MP to do about gambling advertising?

  • Be polite – it’s always best to get the message across in a friendly way.
